Business must be booming for Breitling! The famous aviation inspired brand is now opening a new store in KLCC in a partnership with Cortina Watch. This new store keeps the brand visible in the other high end retail outlet in the city. Thus, it also offers a new venue for future Breitling events and promotions. If you've been following us on social media, Breitling always makes for a fun promotional space! This should not be underestimated for branding mileage as with Pavilion KL, it is a destination luxury mall. One either goes there or does not. KLCC though is a transit area for many as it is surrounded by expensive office blocks and luxury or super luxury apartments.
Breitling in KLCC
According to the brand - "Designed in a modern and original style highlighting the brand’s aeronautical heritage, the 42 sqm store gives visitors the opportunity to plunge directly into the Breitling universe. It features vibrant pop art paintings by renowned New York artist Kevin T. Kelly, and is decorated with American walnut floors and Quadrillo wood panelling to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Other design features include showcases adorned with a mosaic of carved aircraft. The new store also has a VIP seating area that offers customers with an exclusive, personalised shopping experience. The full range of Breitling watches are housed in the new store, including its iconic Navitimer, Chronomat and Professional models, as well as the exclusive Breitling for Bentley collection."
There and back again
I'm personally happy about this development. In recent times, Pavilion has become mired in traffic jams on almost every access point and with watch brands pitched up to hilt inside, familiarity is indeed breeding contempt! So I'm obviously hoping for some respite from regular trip there. And besides, KLCC has a world class park and a brilliant fountain light show every evening. What's not to like?
