How much do you love your mother?

For this Mother’s Day, Hublot has a few ideas that show how much your Supermom means to you and will continue to remind them for many, many years to come.

For the special woman in life, a timepiece that is as enduring as your love: the Big Bang Ceramic or Gold Blue Diamonds, Big Bang Sang Bleu King Gold or Steel Pavé or Spirit of Big Bang Moonphase King Gold White Diamonds or Pavé or Spirit Of Big Bang Moonphase Titanium White Diamonds or Pavé – makes an ideal gift for the woman who appreciates the innovation of her watch as much as she does its stunning beauty.

Launched over ten years ago, Hublot's Big Bang has become the benchmark of versatility in Swiss watchmaking. Using its unique and highly distinctive design as a starting point, Hublot continues to take the iconic model into uncharted technical and stylistic territory.

For women in 2018, Hublot introduces the Big Bang Ceramic Blue Diamonds and Big Bang Gold Blue Diamonds – featuring a blue sunray dial. Its bezel, made from either polished black-plated set or polished 18K Gold 5N set, comes with 36 sparkling diamonds totaling 1.80cts.

Immersed in the deep blue, the Big Bang Gold Blue Diamonds and Big Bang Ceramic Blue Diamond houses a calibre HUB4300 self-winding chronograph movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. To put the final touches to this all blue look, the strap comes in blue rubber and alligator straps.

As an ambassador, Maxime Buchi perfectly incarnates Hublot’s willingness to merge the arts and bring together fundamentally contrasting worlds. Dualities, opposing forces that evolve into powerful synergies. This surprising and audacious collaboration takes the form of a glass and metal sculpture created by the artist. Singular shapes spatially transpose the inspirations born from the encounter between Maxime Buchi and Hublot.

An experience that goes beyond tattooing, Hublot and Sang Bleu created an original intriguing and eye-catching Big Bang Sang Bleu back in 2016. It evokes the harmonious and proportional relationships derived from Leonard de Vinci’s Vitruvian Man. Symmetric effects that have guided Humanity since the dawn of time and that have created the greatest architectural projects in the world. Shapes that characterize Maxime Buchi’s tattoo designs and echo the quest for perfection and the worship of symbols that bring his work to life.

This year, Hublot and the Swiss tattoo artist take the Sang Bleu collection to an even higher level by fusing new details and materials. The Big Bang Sang Bleu is extended to stainless steel and King Gold case set with 180 diamonds for 0.45ct which is engraved to resemble the geometry of the sculpture. The bezel is polished in stainless steel or 18K King Gold set with 96 Diamonds for 1.00ct with 6 H-shaped Titanium Screws Hexagonal Décor.

Embodying the unique design, the bezel of the Big Bang sees its roundness shaped into a hexagon. These facets confer a three-dimensional effect upon it. The matt black dial presents a wide black satin- finish circular flange stamped with the hours. The numerals created for this piece by Maxime's typeface-design agency SwissTypefaces SARL. As for the seconds counter, it appears discreetly on the metal sculpture that dresses the dial. Curves that contrast with the piece as a whole. As if to reinforce its mysterious spirit and give time another dimension, no hand appears on the dial. The time is displayed through the superposition of three rhodium- plated octagonal-shaped discs. The largest disc indicates the hours, while the small one marks the minutes. To make it easier to tell the time, one of the tips of the hours and minutes octagons is in white Superluminova. As for the seconds, these tick by in the center on a black disc stamped with the H of Hublot and the stylised hourglass of Sang Bleu.

The Big Bang Sang Bleu is held on a black calfskin strap. Sewn onto rubber, it is hot stamped in a gradient from black to grey. As a reminder of the collaboration, the Sang Bleu logo is engraved on the back of the strap.

Diamonds are eternal. And Hublot introduced a 42mm mechanical timepiece with a poetic moonphase complication.

Assembled by hand and made to perfection, the Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Moonphase is made from titanium or 18K King Gold bezel and case, of which the bezel is set with 48 diamonds for 0.58ct, showcasing pure glamour and style for any women who wear it. Both bezels in Titanium and 18K King Gold are also available with diamond embellished case, set with 156 diamonds.

In addition, the automatic skeleton movement with a 50-hour power reserve can be appreciated thanks to its sapphire dial which reveals the full beauty of the skeleton mechanism including its date disc. It also provides greater assurance against counterfeiting protected by sapphire crystal and anti-reflective treatment.

The beating heart of the piece is the HUB1770 Self-winding Skeleton Big Date Moonphase Movement. It also features water resistancy up to 100m.
